Course Description:

Adobe After Effects course students will be able to: Create a composition with media clips that play in a sequence. Apply motion and animated effects to overlaying media elements. Control the sequence and duration of footage items, as well as nested compositions within a composition. Create transparency in layers with track mattes, masks, and stencils. Integrate After Effects with other applications. Render a project as a single file, with the settings that you choose.


Learning Objectives:

This course will get you started with the basic concepts of After Effects, but gives you a path to continue your mastery of the application. This is a great primer for those seeking their Adobe certification.

AFTER EFFECTS COURSE INFORMATION

Which After Effects Course do I take?

We offer 2 After Effects courses. A 3-day beginner and a 2-day advanced. Please read the course oulines above to determine which is best for you. We recommend taking the advanced course if you are knowledgable of at least 70% of the beginner course.

Adobe After Effects Onsite Course Options

Wherever your office is located, we can come to you and deliver a private custom After Effects course. The larger the group the bigger the discount. However we also offer After Effects training for individuals, either at your corporate headquaters or your home.

For on-site courses, you will need to have a computer with After Effects and if there are 3 or more delegates, a projection system is required for our After Effects instructor.

Adobe After Effects Public Courses

Currently we only offer Public After Effects courses in the Johannesburg and Cape Town areas. We can however provide a private onsite course or of course an online After Effects course is also available

After Effects Online Courses

If you are unable to attend a public After Effects course, or simply prefer the convenience of an online course, these are regularly offered. For online After Effects courses you will need After Effects an internet connection of 5MB/s or faster and a headset with a mic or use your laptop's built in mic and speakers. All After Effects course materials are provided digitally. The course is of course, live and fully interactive with engaging teaching.

What else should I learn after my After Effects course?

Motion Graphic Designers will always have other tools in their toolbox. Photoshop knowledge is almost a must and if you want to create more 3D elements then Cinema 4D is recommended.
