Course Description

Train the Trainer is a comprehensive SAQA unit standard-based course that covers best practice standards of facilitating learning. From mastering the skill of understanding the different methods of learning to aligning your training sessions to meet those requirements. Gain a practical, how-to overview of Conducting Training for groups of Learners.

 

Prerequisites

Seasoned and competent in the area in which you will offer training.

 

Target Audience

This course is aimed for an individual who is looking at facilitating the learning process in a training environment.

 

This course is accredited with ETDP Seta and each learner will have to submit a Portfolio of Evidence after the training, upon being deemed competent, the learner will receive a Certicate of Competence.

Accredited to Unit Standard IDs: 117871 and 123397 NQF Level 5 with 20 credits.

Train the Trainer COURSE INFORMATION

Which Train the Trainer Course do I take?

There are 2 courses on offer. A 1-day beginner and a 1-day advanced. Please read the course oulines above to determine which is best for you. We recommend taking the advanced course if you are knowledgable of at least 70% of the beginner course.

Adobe Train the Trainer Onsite Course Options

Wherever your office is located, we can come to you and deliver a private custom Train the Trainer course. The larger the group the bigger the discount. However we also offer Train the Trainer training for individuals, either at your corporate headquaters or your home.

For on-site courses, you will need to have a computer with Train the Trainer and MS Word and if there are 3 or more delegates, a projection system is required for our Train the Trainer instructor.

Adobe Train the Trainer Public Courses

Currently we only offer Public Train the Trainer courses in the Johanensburg and Cape Town areas. We can however provide a private onsite course or of course an online Train the Trainer course is also available

Train the Trainer Online Courses

If you are unable to attend a public Train the Trainer course, or simply prefer the convenience of an online course, these are regularly offered. For online Train the Trainer courses you will need Train the Trainer and MS Word, an insternet connection of 5MB/s or faster and a headset with a mic or use your laptop's built in mic and speakers. All Train the Trainer course materials are provided digitally. The course is of course, live and fully interactive with engaging teaching.

What else should I learn after my Train the Trainer course?

Train the Trainer is mostly a standalone application, with the majority of users converting MS word documents to a PDF and using Train the Trainer for building electronic forms. If you need assistance with layout and graphic design, you should look into Adobe InDesign.

The ACE is a higher qualification which requires writing an online exam
